Lorde just stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and as is customary performed a cover song, although it may not be one you’d expect to hear from someone who's only 20. Instead of performing a tune of one of her contemporaries, she chose to give her take on the Phil Collins classic “In The Air Tonight.”
While you may think it’s odd for her to cover Collins, as we previously told you, Lorde did recently reveal her love of the Genesis frontman during an appearance on Marc Maron’s “WTF” podcast. "My favorite pop males are the guys that sound like a combination of your boyfriend and your dad,” she said. “That’s Phil.” Check out Lorde’s cover to the right.
